So our family does not get together on Christmas because we are just too far away and everyone has to be at their in-laws and such, so we celebrate our Family Christmas in January or in this case, February!
Oneita and her family came from Excelsior Springs and Toni and her family came from Jefferson City. On Saturday morning we had our Christmas and opened gifts. Everyone seemed very happy with their gifts and the kids spent the rest of the morning playing with their gifts. In the afternoon we had a birthday party for Lanie, where we played. Duck-duck-goose, Mother May I, London Bridge, Farmer and the Dell and Ring around the Rosie. We then had a pinata that took 8 kids multiple tries to finally break it. Candy went everywhere! A good time was had by all.
We then ate cake and just enjoyed everyone's company.
